Rick Dillon didn't set out to build a dock products company. He just wanted to enjoy his paddle boat without it taking over the whole dock every weekend.

After years of dragging, bailing, scrubbing, and stubbing his toes on a pedal boat that was always in the wrong place, Rick started sketching. The result, after dozens of prototypes tested on his own dock, was the Reclaim Your Dock Paddle Boat Lift — a hand-crank, rope-driven, galvanized-steel system that any homeowner could install in a single afternoon.

Today, Rick personally answers the phone when you call (913) 980-8001. He troubleshoots installs on FaceTime. He drives out to Lake of the Ozarks to set up lifts for customers who'd rather skip the DIY. And every lift that ships from Reclaim Your Dock is one Rick would proudly bolt to his own dock — because that's where the first one is still cranking, season after season.
